Kosmos, Lda., a tenant ordered to vacate premises for non-payment of rent, lodged an extraordinary appeal on grounds of unconstitutionality against a Supreme Court judgment rejecting its complaint, alleging breach of the principles of the democratic rule of law, legality and universality. The Court dismissed the appeal, since the decision was based on the law and the appellant had had equal access to the courts, and described its procedural conduct as bad-faith litigation.
