SOGESTER – Sociedade Gestora de Terminais, S.A. lodged an extraordinary appeal on grounds of unconstitutionality against a Supreme Court judgment ordering it to pay compensation, alleging that its evidence, the defences it raised and the need for a trial hearing had been disregarded, breaching effective judicial protection and the duty to give reasons. The Court dismissed the appeal, since the claim merely expressed disagreement with the merits and the assessment of evidence, matters beyond the scope of this type of appeal.
