The appellant brought an extraordinary appeal on grounds of unconstitutionality against a Supreme Court judgment upholding his conviction for fraud, alleging breaches of the principles of legality, of equality, since a co-defendant had been acquitted, and of the personal nature of penalties. The Court found no breach of any of those principles, because the two defendants' participation and gain had differed and the criminal sanction had fallen on the appellant himself.
