Cabinda Gulf Oil Company Limited – Angola Branch appealed against the judgment of the Labour Chamber of the Supreme Court finding that an employee's rights to be heard and to a defence had been breached because he was given less than 48 hours' notice of the disciplinary interview. The Court concluded that the judgment under appeal was consistent with the Constitution, since a reasonable period of five days is required to secure a full defence, and found the appeal unfounded.
