SummaryUnofficial

The CASA-CE parliamentary group requested subsequent abstract review of provisions of Presidential Decree No. 276/20, which limited meetings and banned gatherings of more than five people on public roads to combat COVID-19, and of provisions of Law No. 16/91 on the hours for meetings and demonstrations. The Court found the health restrictions lawful and proportionate, and not unconstitutional, and held that the Law No. 16/91 provisions had already been repealed by the 2010 Constitution, so the claim had become devoid of purpose.

Decision
