The UNITA Parliamentary Group sought subsequent abstract review of Article 11(1)(b) of the Regulation of the competition for President of the National Electoral Commission (CNE), approved by the CSMJ, which gives weight to candidate judges' electoral experience, invoking equality and impartiality. The Court did not declare it unconstitutional because the distinction is justified, proportionate and open to broad interpretation, without reserving the post for those who had previously served in the CNE.
