The appellant, sentenced to 12 years' imprisonment for homicide, lodged an extraordinary appeal on grounds of unconstitutionality against a Supreme Court judgment upholding the sentence, alleging the absence of an autopsy and of forensic examination of the weapon, lack of reasoning and breach of the accusatorial and adversarial principles.
