TAAG – Linhas Aéreas de Angola, EP lodged an extraordinary appeal on grounds of unconstitutionality against a judgment of the Labour Chamber of the Supreme Court in an individual employment dispute. Once the appeal was admitted, the appellant asked for the proceedings to be discontinued because it had concluded an out-of-court settlement with the employee paying the labour claims. The Court found the settlement requirements met, held that the proceedings had become devoid of purpose and declared them discontinued following withdrawal.
