The UNITA Parliamentary Group sought subsequent abstract review of Article 7 of Regulation No. 4/22 of the National Electoral Commission (CNE) on the recognition and accreditation of election observers, which sets the number of observers, alleging breach of the National Assembly's reserved legislative competence, the right to political participation and the principle of proportionality. The Court rejected the application because the provision merely gave effect to the legal principles and was not unconstitutional, unreasonable or disproportionate.
