Halliburton Overseas Limitada appealed against the judgment of the Labour Chamber of the Supreme Court declaring an employee's dismissal void, because the notice of the disciplinary measure merely referred to the final report of the proceedings, and ordering it to pay back wages and compensation. It alleged breach of the right to a fair trial. The Court dismissed the appeal because the decision rested on the statutory duty to justify disciplinary measures and the appellant had enjoyed all procedural guarantees.
