The UNITA Parliamentary Group sought abstract subsequent review of Article 284(3) of the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, which requires an absolute majority of members to set up an ad hoc committee in proceedings to charge and remove the President of the Republic, alleging conflict with Article 129 of the Constitution. The Court did not declare it unconstitutional, since the initiative lies exclusively with the National Assembly under its Rules, without obstructing the courts' powers.
