Two citizens who lost an action for recovery of property lodged an extraordinary appeal on grounds of unconstitutionality against a Supreme Court judgment upholding the first-instance decision, alleging partiality and breach of the principle of legality and the right to a fair trial. The Court dismissed the appeal, since the Supreme Court had based its decision on the law and the evidence, and the appellants had been able to present their evidence on equal terms and had their case reviewed on appeal.
