The UNITA Parliamentary Group challenged the National Assembly's Extraordinary Plenary Session of 14 October 2023, alleging that the rejection of an ad hoc committee to consider its initiative to impeach and remove the President of the Republic breached the constitutional and procedural rules, as did the use of an open vote, the failure to circulate documents and the lack of coverage by the public media. The Court dismissed the action, finding no unconstitutionality or illegality in the procedure followed.
