The UNITA Parliamentary Group brought parliamentary dispute proceedings against the National Assembly, challenging Resolution No. 118/24 setting the composition of the National Electoral Commission (CNE) and the dissolution of the mixed PRS-FNLA Parliamentary Group, alleging a distribution of seats contrary to the law and to proportionality. The Court dismissed the action because nominating CNE members is a matter for parties and coalitions, not parliamentary groups, and no breach of the Constitution or the law had been shown.
