The appellant, convicted at first instance and held in pre-trial detention pending appeal, brought an extraordinary appeal on grounds of unconstitutionality against an order of the President of the Supreme Court refusing her habeas corpus application, invoking human dignity and legality. The Court declared the proceedings terminated as moot because the Supreme Court had meanwhile convicted her at last instance, so the pre-trial detention had become imprisonment under a sentence.
