The appellant, a defendant in criminal proceedings, appealed against the order of the President of the Supreme Court dismissing her challenge to a statement of identity and residence and a ban on leaving the country. The Court allowed the appeal, declared the order unconstitutional and extinguished the travel ban, which had greatly exceeded the statutory time limits without justification, in breach of legality, the presumption of innocence and the rights to liberty and freedom of movement.
