The appellants lodged an extraordinary appeal on grounds of unconstitutionality against the judgment of the Civil, Administrative, Tax and Customs Chamber of the Supreme Court upholding an order that they recognise Tecnidata, Lda's surface right over a plot of land in Luanda and return it, invoking legality and the right to property. The Court dismissed the appeal because the appellants held no title or registration, the requirements for acquisitive prescription were not met and they had built on land in the State's private domain.
