A citizen lodged an extraordinary appeal on grounds of unconstitutionality against the Supreme Court judgment upholding an order that he return a plot of land to Sociedade Industrial de Bebidas do Uíge, S.A., alleging that the decision contradicted the expert evidence and breach of legality, impartiality and the right to a fair trial. The Court dismissed the appeal, as the decision resulted from a critical and reasoned assessment of all the evidence under the principle of free assessment of evidence.
