The appellant lodged an extraordinary appeal on grounds of unconstitutionality against the order of the President of the Lubango Court of Appeal refusing his habeas corpus application, alleging that he had been arrested without a warrant, not in flagrante delicto, and had not been brought before the judge of guarantees within 48 hours. As his pre-trial detention had meanwhile ended and he was at liberty, the Court declared the proceedings terminated as moot without examining the merits.
