The appellant, in pre-trial detention since October 2024, brought an extraordinary appeal on grounds of unconstitutionality against an order of the President of the Luanda Court of Appeal refusing his habeas corpus application on the ground that time limits had not been exceeded, alleging excessive detention and denial of justice. The Court declared the proceedings terminated as moot because a release warrant had meanwhile been issued in the main proceedings.
