A citizen sentenced to four years' imprisonment for sexual abuse of a child under 14 appealed against a judgment of the Luanda Court of Appeal upholding the conviction, invoking legality, in dubio pro reo, the presumption of innocence, the adversarial principle and the duty to give reasons. The Court dismissed the appeal because the judgment was adequately reasoned and the arguments mainly sought a reassessment of facts and evidence, which falls outside constitutional jurisdiction.
