They are Victoria Izata and Victorino Hossi, elected by the National Assembly on 13 January this year and sworn in on Friday, 20 January, by the President of the Republic.
Victória Izata, who replaces Guilhermina Prata in the post, the latter having recently retired on reaching the age limit, holds a degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of Agostinho Neto University, and at the time of her election as Vice-President of the Constitutional Court was already serving as a Justice.
Victorino Hossi, for his part, is a doctoral candidate in Strategy at the University of Lisbon and holds a degree in Law from the Faculty of Human Sciences of the Catholic University of Lisbon. He has held various public offices, most notably that of Minister of Commerce, between 1997 and 2004.
