The academics from the Faculty of Law of the University of Macau, who are in our country at the invitation of the Faculty of Law of Agostinho Neto University, were received in audience at the Constitutional Court on the morning of this Wednesday, 10 July 2024.

During the courtesy visit, the delegation from the Asian country, led by Professor Tong Cheng, Dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Macau, received from the President of the Constitutional Court, Justice Laurinda Prazeres Monteiro Cardoso, explanations and information on the powers, functioning and other responsibilities of this Superior Court in the light of the Angolan legal order.

The meeting, attended by Justices Júlia Ferreira, Josefa Neto, Carlos Burity da Silva and Gilberto Magalhães, was also witnessed by Professor José Octávio Serra Van-Dúnem, Director of the Centre for Legal, Economic and Social Science Studies of Agostinho Neto University.

The Faculty of Law of the University of Macau, the oldest institution for legal education in Macau, offers undergraduate (Licenciatura), postgraduate, master's and doctoral programmes.
