Justice Carlos Teixeira, representing the Constitutional Court of Angola, is taking part, from 26 to 28 June 2024, in South Africa, in the Regional Forum of Anglophone, Francophone and Lusophone African Judges.

The Forum is a platform created 10 years ago with the aim of reflecting on the role of the judicial systems of the region, and seeks to promote equality and inclusion, as well as access to services by marginalised populations, particularly in the context of HIV.

In his presentation, scheduled for the 27th, Justice Carlos Teixeira will address the situation regarding the criminalisation of HIV transmission in Angola.

Members of the judiciary from Anglophone, Lusophone and Francophone countries of Africa are taking part in the event, which is being held in Johannesburg.
