Manuel João Lucas Quilundo, recently appointed Justice of the Constitutional Court, was presented on Thursday, 19 December 2024, to the Plenary and to the staff of the Constitutional Court, at a ceremony led by the President of the Constitutional Court, Justice Laurinda Prazeres Monteiro Cardoso.

The event, rich in symbolism, was also attended by distinguished figures from the legislative and judicial branches, as well as by family members and friends of the new Justice.

Lucas Quilundo holds a degree in Law from Agostinho Neto University and, until his nomination to the Constitutional Court, was a commissioner of the National Electoral Commission.
