The Constitutional Court has made public the Reasoned Report (Relatório de Fundamentação) on the Public Competition to Fill the Post of Justice (Juiz Conselheiro) of this Court, the results of which were validated by the Plenary at a Session held on 9 September 2026.
The competition was opened by a decision of the Plenary of the Constitutional Court taken on 25 June 2026 and formalised by Resolution No. 2/2026 of 2 July, published in Series I, No. 123, of the Official Gazette (Diário da República).
Following the opening of the competition, the corresponding notice, the Regulation and the Terms of Reference were also published, ensuring the public disclosure of the rules, criteria and procedures applicable to the selection process.
The submission, evaluation and validation of the final results complied with the requirements laid down in the Constitution of the Republic of Angola and in the Regulation and the Terms of Reference of the Competition.
With the publication of the results, candidates now have a period of five working days in which to lodge any challenge, under the applicable terms.
