The President of the National Front for the Liberation of Angola (FNLA), Nimi a Simbi, was received in audience this Tuesday, 30 June 2026, by the President of the Constitutional Court, Justice Laurinda Prazeres.

During the meeting, which was requested by the party leader, issues relating to the internal affairs of the FNLA were discussed, within the scope of the powers constitutionally and legally conferred on the Constitutional Court.

Founded in 1954, the National Front for the Liberation of Angola is one of Angola's historic nationalist movements. Under the leadership of Holden Roberto, it played an important role in the struggle for national independence.
