The Justices of the Constitutional Court of Angola paid a courtesy visit to the Provincial Government of Huíla on the morning of Monday, 23 February, where they were received by the Provincial Governor, Nuno Mahapi Dala, accompanied by his team.
On the occasion, the Provincial Governor praised the role played by the Constitutional Court in disseminating, promoting and preserving the Constitution of the Republic among the various segments of the population.
The Constitutional Court's visit to Huíla is part of the celebrations of Constitution Day, marked on 5 February.
The Court's delegation is led by its President, Justice Laurinda Prazeres, and includes the Vice-President, Justice Victória Izata.
The mission also includes Justices Carlos Teixeira, Carlos Burity da Silva, Maria de Fátima da Silva, Gilberto Magalhães, Vitorino Hossi, João Carlos Paulino, Lucas Quilundo, Amélia Varela and Margareth Nangacovie, as well as the representative of the Public Prosecution Service, Luís de Assunção Mouta Liz.
