Two appellants brought an extraordinary appeal on grounds of unconstitutionality against a Supreme Court judgment which, besides upholding their conviction for aggravated robbery, also convicted them of illegal possession of a firearm and increased one sentence, without their having been notified of the Public Prosecution Service's opinion. The Court partly allowed the appeal and declared the judgment unconstitutional for breach of due process and of the rights of defence and to be heard.
