The appellants, each sentenced by the Supreme Court to three years' imprisonment for breach of trust and money laundering, alleged breaches of legality and fair trial because their coercive measures, a statement of identity and residence and a ban on leaving the country, had never been reviewed. The Court dismissed the appeal because the Supreme Court had confirmed those measures in the judgment under appeal, with no breach of fair trial or of the principles invoked.
