The appellant lodged an extraordinary appeal on grounds of unconstitutionality against the decision of the President of the Luanda Court of Appeal refusing him habeas corpus, alleging that his pre-trial detention in a joined case was unlawful and that access to law and effective judicial protection had been breached. The Court terminated the proceedings as moot because the appellant had meanwhile been released.
