A trading company lodged an extraordinary appeal on grounds of unconstitutionality against a decision of the Luanda Court of Appeal upholding the rejection of its appeal in eviction proceedings as out of time, claiming it had never been properly served and invoking the adversarial principle and equality. The Court dismissed the appeal, finding that service, received by one of the company's employees, was valid, that the company had had the same procedural opportunities as the other party and that its appeal was filed late.
