The company MINUILA – Comércio Geral, Importação e Exportação, Lda., an assistente in criminal proceedings, appealed against the Supreme Court judgment declaring the defendant's offence amnestied without lifting the seizure of funds from its accounts, ordered by the Public Prosecution Service and handed to a bank, invoking separation of powers, legality, effective judicial protection and property. The Court dismissed the appeal, holding that the seizure had a legal basis and that none of those principles had been breached.
