A lawyer whose appeal against a resolution of the General Assembly of the Angolan Bar Association was not heard by the Full Court and Appeals Bench of the Supreme Court, because his submissions and conclusions were excessively long, lodged an extraordinary appeal on grounds of unconstitutionality. The Court allowed the appeal, as the lower court had not identified unintelligible passages or allowed correction, so refusal for prolixity disproportionately restricted access to justice and the right of appeal, and ordered a ruling on the merits.
