An organisation's director given a suspended sentence by the Huambo District Court for indecent assault, upheld by the Supreme Court, lodged an extraordinary appeal on grounds of unconstitutionality, alleging breach of the prohibition of reformatio in pejus and of in dubio pro reo. The Court dismissed the appeal, as the reference to a fine was part of the comparison between the 1886 Penal Code and the new Penal Code, and the alleged alteration of the judgment was unproven.
