On the initiative of the staff of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Angola, a delegation headed by its President, Justice Laurinda Monteiro Cardoso, spent the morning of Thursday, 16 June 2022, with the children of the Santa Madalena Care Centre (Centro de Acolhimento Santa Madalena), located in the Municipality of Cazenga, Kima Kieza Urban District, in the Province of Luanda.
During this solidarity visit, Justices and staff of the Constitutional Court toured the various facilities of the Santa Madalena Care Centre, founded by Madalena Cunzuna, a 76-year-old Angolan citizen. The institution currently cares for 76 children aged between 1 and 14.
In addition to spending time with the children, the Justices and staff of the Constitutional Court donated essential goods to ease the shortages faced by the Santa Madalena Care Centre.
