The new Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme in Angola (UNDP), Denise António, was received in audience, at her request, this Thursday, 11 January 2024, by the President of the Constitutional Court of Angola, Justice Laurinda Prazeres Monteiro Cardoso.

At the meeting, Denise António extolled and praised the importance and role of the Constitutional Court in the legal system of the Republic of Angola, and also expressed the full willingness of the institution she heads to collaborate with the Angolan authorities.

The new UNDP representative in Angola, a United States national, who presented her credentials to the Angolan Government on 30 October 2023, was accompanied by the Head of Governance of UNDP in Angola, Ikena Carreira.
