MARIA EUGÊNIA NETO, widow of the first President of the Republic of Angola, António Agostinho Neto, visited the Gallery of Angolan Constitutionalism this Monday, 4 August 2025. The Gallery is a space dedicated to preserving, enhancing and disseminating the constitutional history of Angola, from the earliest days of the formation of the State to the present.

During the visit, the former First Lady toured the Gallery's various exhibition sections, showing visible satisfaction with the content on display, notably the provision of information in braille for visually impaired citizens.

On the occasion, the President of the Constitutional Court, Justice Laurinda Jacinto Prazeres, presented the visitor with copies of the Constitution of the Republic of Angola in its Children's version and in braille. Maria Eugénia Neto, in turn, donated several copies of works she has written, as a gesture of sharing and of enrichment of the Gallery's cultural collection.
