The Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Angola, Denise António, was received in audience on Monday, 4 August 2025, by the President of the Constitutional Court of Angola, Justice Laurinda Jacinto Prazeres.

During the meeting, at which matters of common interest were discussed, Denise António highlighted the important role of the Constitutional Court in promoting a sound and ever-deeper legal culture in the country, and reaffirmed UNDP's full readiness to strengthen cooperation with this judicial body.

This was the UNDP representative's second official visit to the Constitutional Court.

At the meeting, the diplomat was accompanied by Ikena Carreira, UNDP Head of Governance in Angola, and also had the opportunity to visit the Gallery of Angolan Constitutionalism, a space that portrays 50 years of Angola's constitutional history.
