With the aim of learning about the role of the Constitutional Court in the conduct of the Electoral Process under way in the country, a European Union Electoral Experts Mission was received in audience on Monday, 8 August 2022, by the President of the Constitutional Court, Justice Laurinda Monteiro Cardoso. During the audience, the European Mission, which has been in Angola since 4 August, received from the President of the Constitutional Court and her team explanations of the tasks carried out by this Court within the framework of its powers relating to the Angolan Electoral Process. The European Experts Mission, headed by the Ambassador of the European Union to Angola, Jeannette Seppen, also included Tânia Maria Magalhães Marques and Alexandre Gray, both officials of the European External Action Service (EEAS). Justices Gilberto Magalhães and Conceição Sango, as well as other officials of the Constitutional Court, attended the meeting.
