Members of the International Union of Portuguese-Speaking Judges (UIJLP) and the Association of Judges of Angola (AJA) visited the Constitutional Court on Monday, 8 September 2025, where they were received by the President of the Constitutional Court, Justice Laurinda Prazeres.
The meeting was also attended by Justices Carlos Teixeira and Amélia Varela and focused on the preparations for the Conferência Internacional sobre Ética, Tecnologia e o Futuro do Judiciário (International Conference on Ethics, Technology and the Future of the Judiciary), to be held on 10 September.
On that occasion, the representatives of the UIJLP and the AJA praised the Constitutional Court and encouraged it to continue its work of promoting and disseminating material that strengthens citizens' knowledge of legal and constitutional issues, highlighting initiatives such as the translation of the Constitution of the Republic into several national languages and its adaptation into comic-book format and braille.
During the visit, the judges toured different areas of the institution, with particular emphasis on the Gallery of Angolan Constitutionalism, a space dedicated to preserving, promoting and disseminating the national legal memory, from the earliest days of the formation of the State to the present day.
